Overview

2025 Princess S72 — the definitive statement of sport‑luxury yachting. The 2025 Princess S72 blends cutting‑edge performance with classic British craftsmanship and a serene, high‑end finish. Created for owners who crave both adrenaline and poise, this S‑Class sportbridge delivers a captivating on‑water experience with unmistakable Princess pedigree.

Driven by twin MAN V12s, the yacht offers effortless passage making and exhilarating top‑end pace, while a refined deep‑V hull and hydraulic fin stabilizers provide superb composure and comfort underway and at anchor. Purposeful, streamlined exterior lines frame expansive sunpads fore and aft, a hydraulic bathing platform that transforms into a waterside terrace, and a tender garage for seamless launch and recovery. The sociable cockpit flows naturally into the saloon, and the sleek sportbridge hardtop crowns an upper helm and lounge designed for open‑air cruising.

Flooded with natural light from sweeping panoramic glazing, the interior showcases a satin walnut finish and meticulously detailed joinery. Four beautifully appointed cabins (plus a twin crew cabin) include a full‑beam owner’s suite, all crafted with premium materials and discreet, yacht‑grade hardware. The open‑plan saloon and well‑equipped galley create a refined, welcoming hub for extended stays aboard. Mediterranean specification with passerelle, electric winches, and full air‑conditioning enhances life on deck in warm climates.

Delivered new in 2025 and presented in as‑new, professionally maintained condition, this Princess S72 stands out as one of the most coveted models in her category. A rare chance to secure a flagship sport yacht—sportbridge, luxury motor yacht, performance cruiser, express sport yacht—that unites exhilarating performance, timeless elegance, and uncompromising comfort, ready for immediate enjoyment.

Detailed Description

Full specification

Power comes from twin MAN V12-1800 engines delivering 1800 mhp each (two by 1800 mhp), complemented by a third station for engine and thruster control in the cockpit and a Yacht Controller Maximo for precise low‑speed manoeuvring. A comprehensive hydraulic system uses separate engine‑driven hydraulic pumps so any system can be powered from either engine, feeding the hydraulic anchor winch, a 320 kgf hydraulic bow thruster (in place of standard), a 240 kgf stern thruster, and a hold‑function docking system, all with dual‑station controls. For comfort underway and at anchor, the Sleipner Vector Fin stabilisation system with VF800 fins runs from an engine‑powered hydraulic motor under way and a generator‑powered electric motor at zero speed; with fin and thruster controls unified on a single control at both helms, variable‑speed thrusters are recommended and are supported by the upgraded ONAN 27 kW/50 Hz generator specified for this package.

The exterior styling is defined by an engine air vent cover in white GRP with a graduated vinyl fade to black, graphite grey metallic paint to the deckhouse buttresses, cockpit headlining, styling undercut of the radar arch and canopy forepeak, and a white GRP top side to the radar arch. The hull is white with a dark grey waterline and black antifouling; hull and bathing platform fendering is white with a stainless‑steel insert. A selected Electric Blue canopy graphic accents the aft feature chamfer. Inside, the galley’s lower units are finished in the yacht’s timber with Taupe Grey laminate to the top lockers. The interior features satin walnut throughout, with V‑groove planked walnut flooring to the galley, dinette and helm as standard, and a standard grey helm console with leather helm seats. Accommodation flexibility includes double‑berth conversions in both starboard and port guest cabins, each with a powered sliding mechanism to the inboard berth, while the lower helm and navigator’s seats gain flip‑up armrests, two per seat.

Galley worktops, the bar and the cockpit servery are finished in Sylmar White solid surface as standard. Bathrooms carry slate grey veneer cabinetry, Sylmar White Solid Surface vanity tops in satin finish with thermoformed basins, and Carrara White satin flooring as standard. The colour and materials scheme omits the standard lineout of the seating L‑shaped sofa backrest surround in Cirrus leather and substitutes Putty Leather Quartz III; upholstery to the seat backs and base cushions is Quartz VIII from Fabric Collection Ouessant 37390334. Helm seats are specified in Quartz Pebble leather as the main fabric with Quartz Putty leather as secondary, contrast piping in Putty leather, and colour‑matched stitching in Serafil 08‑326. The cockpit is complemented by two Dedon Seax folding armchairs.

Deck equipment is generous and practical. The Princess S72 features as standard an up/down electro‑hydraulic transom platform with a 550 kg SWL (maximum recommended tender weight 450 kg). Teak is laid to the cockpit, sportbridge deck, transom platform and steps to the sportsbridge as standard, with teak‑laid side decks and a foredeck walkthrough. An electrically operated sliding roof over the forward saloon incorporates standard skylights with electric blinds, and an electrically operated grey‑mesh sun awning shades the aft end of the cockpit overhang. Boarding is eased by a remote‑control 4.1 m telescopic passarelle with folding handrails and side boarding gates to the aft port and starboard side decks. Ground tackle includes a stainless‑steel Epsilon 50 kg anchor and an additional 40 m of 12 mm chain for a total of 100 m. On the foredeck, a teak coffee table with fixing point serves the seating area. A deck‑wash system is fitted with outlets in the transom, foredeck and sportsbridge lockers. The bathing platform features a plug‑in carbon‑pole transom shower with a deck socket, plus stainless‑steel keyway plates and a chock‑mounting system prepared for later fitting of a wet bike. A top‑loading cool box serves the cockpit bar. In place of the port servery unit, an L‑shaped aft‑facing cockpit seat is installed with fabric to match the cockpit upholstery, and a chain counter for the forward windlass is provided at each helm.

Electrical specification includes Continental 220 V/240 V sockets and a comprehensive power‑outlet upgrade: single sockets in the forward cabin are converted to double outlets (two in total), with an additional single socket with twin USB in the port cabin, an additional single socket with twin USB in the starboard cabin, an additional single socket in the master stateroom, and an additional double socket in the aft/crew cabin. Qi wireless charging pads are fitted at the sportsbridge helm and aft of the foredeck seating. Nighttime drama is delivered by four Lumishore THX 803 full‑colour underwater transom lights interfaced with the radar/chartplotter multifunction displays. Comfort features include a heated towel rail in the master bathroom in standard chrome finish and provision to fit additional heated towel rails in selected bathrooms (not available in the crew bathroom), as well as underfloor heating in selected bathroom areas (locations to be specified; shower areas excluded; not available in the crew bathroom). A separate washing machine and condenser dryer are located below the stairs leading to the master stateroom lobby, replacing the standard washer/dryer. The interior lighting upgrade adds additional fibre optics to the saloon and dining area and LED strip lights to blind pelmets in the lower accommodation, while the exterior lighting upgrade includes one linear LED and fibre‑optic lighting to the cockpit pelmet and headlining, plus twenty‑eight low‑level LED dock lights. Window treatments include electric standard venetian blinds to all main‑deck windows, excluding the patio door and helm area, and electric Roman blinds in lieu of manual venetian blinds in the master stateroom (bathrooms excluded). Cruising autonomy is enhanced by a SpotZero freshwater maker with remote instrumentation and a service/spares kit. CCTV coverage comprises two fixed cameras in the engine room and one pan/tilt camera in the cockpit. A port‑sideboard eighteen‑bottle wine cooler attends to the cellar. A 230 V socket is installed in the garage (107386), and an inverter is fitted for the galley sockets, USB outlets and the master stateroom TV (107571). Shorepower cable and adapter are supplied.

The audio‑visual and communications suite is equally refined. In the deck saloon, a 55" LED TV on a power‑lift mechanism is paired with a Naim Uniti Atom audio system offering Bluetooth, multi‑zone streaming capability and a dedicated app, driving two Focal speakers and a subwoofer. The owner’s stateroom features a 55" LED TV and a Naim Uniti Atom with Bluetooth, multi‑zone streaming and app, paired with two Focal speakers. On the sportsbridge, a Naim Uniti Atom with Bluetooth, multi‑streaming and app powers two JL Audio waterproof speakers; the cockpit seating area mirrors this with its own Naim Uniti Atom and two JL Audio waterproof speakers. Connectivity comes via an on‑board Ethernet network and 4G internet capability, plus an on‑board Wi‑Fi network incorporating external Wi‑Fi and a 3G/4G antenna for extended range, enabling connectivity to onshore Wi‑Fi networks throughout the vessel (mobile internet connectivity requires an activated mobile data SIM card; SIM card not supplied). The Forward Cabin TV & Audio Package adds a 43" LED TV and a Naim Uniti Atom with Bluetooth, multi‑zone streaming and app, paired with two Focal speakers. Provision is made with copex conduit for later fitting of satellite TV, and a dummy KVH TV6 dome (49 cm dome) completes the profile.

Navigation is by a full Raymarine suite. Raymarine Axiom XLI 6 multifunction colour displays are fitted—two at the lower helm and one at the upper helm—integrating radar/chartplotter with GPS and a 4 kW SHD 48" digital colour open‑array scanner. A Raymarine Evolution autopilot with rate gyro, p70Rs control heads and i70s multifunction instruments (for speed, distance, trip, depth alarm, water temperature, etc.) is fitted at both helms. Each helm also carries a dedicated 15" Böning display integrated to provide engine instrumentation including fuel levels and fuel flow, digital boat alarms, lighting controls, AC/DC control and monitoring, and CCTV camera display. An additional Raymarine Axiom XLI 6 colour multifunction display is installed at the upper helm. Communications include a Raymarine Ray90 multi‑station VHF and a Raymarine AIS Class B transponder interfaced with the chartplotter. A stern camera and a port‑side camera facing aft assist with close‑quarters awareness.

Climate control is handled by reverse‑cycle air conditioning/heating (split gas system, not chilled water) rated at 128,000 BTU and suitable for ambient temperatures up to 40°C (tropical specification), with individual controls in all cabins and outlets in all areas, including bathrooms and the crew cabin. A windscreen demist system uses a warm‑air heater powered from the calorifier, and twin diesel heaters distribute warmth throughout. While the standard 22.5 kW generator is sufficient for air conditioning and gyro stabilisers, this yacht is equipped with the upgraded 27 kW/50 Hz generator noted above to support the stabilisation package.

Practical touches continue with mosquito screens to all opening portholes. Exterior upholstery, canvas and covers are specified with foredeck, cockpit and sportbridge seating without contrast, and sunbed cushions with a contrast insert in Comfort Exterior III Vogue with Vogue/Met or Hitch contrast. Reticulated foam replaces the standard foam in all exterior cockpit, foredeck and sportsbridge seating and sunpads (excluding helm seats) to improve drainage. A full set of cockpit, foredeck and sportsbridge covers is provided, along with separate covers for the foredeck table, cockpit sofas and sunbed. The Bimini top is in grey canvas, with windows in the cockpit cover; LED overhead lighting switched from the console and electro‑hydraulic operation are available as additional options.

Accessories include an eight‑place setting of china, cutlery and glasses supplied as standard.
