Overview

Among the most acclaimed production lines ever launched, this 112' Westport raised-pilothouse superyacht presents a seldom-seen chance to secure a yacht in pristine order, uniting blue-chip pedigree with contemporary upgrades and turnkey charter credentials. With US duty paid and exemplary care, KEMOSABE showcases a substantial interior redesign by IK Yacht Design, a complete 2024 exterior repaint by Luu Marine, and a full main-engine rebuild by Florida Detroit Diesel, currently protected by an active warranty. Capable of reaching 26 knots and featuring a shallow draft tailor-made for Bahamian cruising, this luxury motor yacht delivers both performance and versatility for private cruising or charter yacht operations.

Detailed Description

Overview and key features

The interior spaces blend contemporary finishes with the warmth and sophistication of traditional Westport design, creating a yacht that is both stylish and eminently livable. The main salon and dining areas provide generous, welcoming settings for entertaining or unwinding, while a functional, country-kitchen style galley adds a practical touch perfectly suited to family cruising or charter operations. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from materials to flow, ensuring comfort and elegance in equal measure.

Accommodation is arranged for eight guests across four well-appointed cabins, including a full-beam master suite and three comfortable guest cabins. Up to five crew members can be accommodated to deliver professional service, whether enjoyed as a private yacht or operated as a successful charter vessel. The intelligent layout and meticulous attention to detail make her equally appealing for personal ownership and revenue-generating charter use.

Her exterior showcases the timeless lines and elegance of the Westport series, further elevated by a recent full paint job by Luu Marine in 2024 that enhances her presence in every port. Expansive decks invite relaxation and convivial gatherings, while her performance capabilities allow for effortless cruising between destinations.

As one of the most upgraded 112' Westport yachts on the market, she benefits from main engines fully overhauled by Florida Detroit Diesel and a full interior refit by Ik Yacht Design, delivering a fresh, modern ambiance throughout. A true turn-key charter operation, she carries a full suite of water toys and boasts spacious accommodations, complemented by a shallow draft ideal for exploring the Bahamas. Capable of speeds up to 26 knots, she combines confident performance with proven credentials as a successful charter boat.

Machinery

Commanding performance comes from two MTU 16V 2000 M91 diesel engines delivering 2,000 HP each, monitored by two MTU electronic engine displays and showing engine hours as of 02/26 of 429 hours on port and 413 hours on starboard. Power is transferred through four-inch stainless steel shafts turning five-bladed Nibral propellers sized 48” x 49”, while MTU single‑lever engine controls and Twin Disc 9A2249 gearboxes provide precise, responsive handling. A Naiad 353 stabilizer system to port and starboard is driven by a stabilizer pump off each engine and observed via dual pump pressure gauges. For confident close-quarters maneuvering, a sixteen‑inch American Bow Thruster – Trac Hydraulic – stands ready, and helm authority is assured with Jastram hydraulic power steering complete with jog lever and SCA200. Engine ventilation is optimized by twin Delta T intake fans, and the engine room is accessed conveniently via the crew’s quarters.

The machinery spaces are finished for safe, efficient service with nonskid flooring and fluorescent lighting fixtures fitted with safety lenses. Compliance and readiness details include a discharge‑of‑oil plaque, a waste discharge information plaque, and clearly arranged engine ignition and start switches. Bilge management is robust with two 110‑volt bilge pumps feeding a five‑compartment manifold, while vigilance is enhanced by a closed‑circuit television camera. Fuel supply, transfer, and priming valves are organized at the forward bulkhead, complemented by two engine fuel priming pumps and an oil change pump with quick‑disconnect hoses and fittings.

Practicality meets professionalism at the worktable with storage above and a vise, alongside a Craftsman eight‑drawer tool chest. Electrical management is comprehensive, with battery cut‑off switches serving the starboard DDEC, port DDEC, the twenty‑four‑volt pilothouse, the twelve‑volt pilothouse, the twenty‑four‑volt engine room, the starboard main, the port main, and the two Maxwell capstan breakers. Freshwater valves are positioned to starboard outboard under the sole, and the hydraulic bow thruster reservoir is set to starboard aft, bringing thoughtful accessibility to every critical service point.

Generator & auxiliary systems

Twin Northern Lights sixty-five kW generators provide steadfast onboard power, each fitted with a fiberglass muffler and delivering a power output of sixty-five kW; as of 02/26, the port unit records 15820 hours while the starboard shows 13197 hours. At maximum load, generator fuel consumption is 5 GPH. The electrical system is configured for 120 V / 240 V at 60 Hz, and shore power is handled by two Glendinning 100-amp single-phase shore power cords with a cable retriever and cord storage bins. Energy storage and charging are equally robust, with eight AGM batteries in covered boxes on the centerline serving the engines and house service, plus a dedicated 12-volt battery at each generator with a cut-off switch. Charging is managed by Newmar units, including a PT-24-95F 24-volt charger to the 24-volt ship’s service bank, a PT-70A 12-volt charger to the 12-volt ship’s service bank, a PT-24-40 24-volt charger to the main engine start bank, and a PT-40 12-volt charger to the generator start batteries.

Ancillary equipment

Engineered for unwavering reliability, the yacht’s ancillary suite is anchored by a Marine Air chilled water air conditioning system with three compressors, a chilled water pump, a raw water pump, and a soft start system. Freshwater delivery is assured by two Grundfos Scala2 freshwater pressure pumps (AC) and one Headhunter Stingray freshwater pressure pump (DC), complemented by a Clearmate Water Purifier for spot-free washdowns and two Sea Recovery Aqua Whisper watermakers rated at 1,200 GPD. Fuel management includes dual Sea Pro fuel filters for the engines, a Davco Sea Pro Series 8 Filter system with electric fuel primer, and a fuel transfer pump with Fill Rite monitor, Series 800C. Clean and dirty oil service is handled by Reverso Centralized Oil Change Pumps. Damage control and dewatering are supported by eight bilge pumps—Rule 4000s 24v dewatering pumps—together with a Sea-Flo Dry Bilge System, plus a portable two-inch gasoline powered crash/fire-fighting pump. Waste treatment is entrusted to a Headhunter Tidal Wave type II system, Model # TW-HMX512, complemented by an Autoclor system, a Headhunter Stingray saltwater supply pump, and a Royal Flush toilet by Headhunter. Grey water movement is managed by two gray water pumps—AC Powered Submersible pumps—with 24v DC Rule 4000 back up pumps. Additional systems include an AC Powered Standard Air Compressor, a Jastram rudder angle indicator, and eight Lumitec Typhoon RGBW underwater lights with warranty until 05/01/2026. In the utility room, a laminate sole and overhead fluorescent lights frame abundant storage cabinets, while shore services are delivered by two Glendinning 100-amp shore power cords with a cable retriever and cord storage bins, shore power #1 and #2 main inlet breakers, and two new isolation transformers. Practical access and safety are ensured by an entrance to the rudder compartment via a watertight access hatch, a 3A40BC dry chemical fire extinguisher, and a 30-inch life ring, with a folding manually deployed passarelle and four Type II life jackets close at hand. Comfort and convenience are enhanced by a Sharp microwave, a starboard dinette, a Toshiba television, a counter with sink, Marine Air air conditioning controls, and a General Electric freeze.

Safety & security equipment

Prepared for every passage with confidence, the yacht carries four Type II life jackets, two Zodiac eight-person life rafts, a thirty-inch life ring, a McMurdo EPIRB, and a Carlisle & Finch searchlight to ensure swift response and clear visibility when it matters most. Fire protection is equally comprehensive, featuring a fixed KIDDE system with a release handle in the engine room, complemented by seventeen mobile dry chemical fire extinguishers strategically positioned throughout the vessel. For vigilant oversight, an integrated security suite comprises eight IP cameras with an ICRealTime NVR controller, including one on the aft deck/swim platform, two along the port and starboard side decks, one on the aft mast, one on the forward mast, and two in the engine room, further enhanced by one FLIR PTZ thermal camera mounted on the forward mast for superior low-light and thermal awareness.

Communication equipment

A comprehensive suite ensures effortless global connectivity, featuring a SeaTel dome with controller, a KVH7 DirecTV dome, and an Inmarsat portable sat phone, complemented by worldwide SAT/TV/Internet capability via one High Performance Starlink. Shoreside reach is strengthened by a PepWave cellular system. The VHF suite includes one ICOM IC-M602 VHF radio and two ICOM IC-510 units, intelligently arranged across two lower helm stations and one flybridge position. Onboard communications are unified by a Panasonic Hybrid System telephone serving as both the telephone exchange and the intercom system.

Navigation & electronics
