New-build – The SWAN 45M Project graciously hosts 12 guests and accommodates up to 10 crew. This luxury superyacht spans 45 m (147′ 8″) overall, complemented by an 8.94 m (29′ 4″) beam.

Overview

The stunning SWAN 45M concept was developed by Carl Esch and Zhivko Stoyanov, with commercial input, and is built in full aluminium to unite efficiency, performance, and generous interior volume with expansive exterior entertainment areas crafted for an exceptional Mediterranean lifestyle. Its sophisticated interior by Sorin Vega Design accommodates twelve guests in six staterooms, including a private owner’s suite on the bridge deck, a forward VIP on the main deck, and four additional cabins on the lower deck, while a crew of up to ten ensures a relaxed and seamless experience throughout.

SWAN is also available in a full-beam sky-lounge version that delivers substantial additional beam to the bridge-deck interior and introduces an additional exterior design detail, with layouts provided for both versions. On either configuration, the interior layout and decoration can be fully customized to match the personal preferences and taste of discerning owners.

Outdoor living is central to the design, with aft a large swimming pool and an expansive bathing platform whose fold-down bulwarks create a generous beach club, complemented by multiple entertainment decks with sun loungers and a Jacuzzi. A tender and water sports garage houses a large tender and several PWCs, and dedicated storage keeps all equipment safely secured underway. With her impressive volume, versatile outdoor spaces, and highly customizable design, SWAN 45M offers a compelling combination of luxury, lifestyle, and charter appeal.

Construction

The hull and superstructure are meticulously crafted in marine-grade aluminium, delivering a robust yet lightweight build with exceptional durability and timeless integrity.

Classification

Certified to RINA standards for Hull & Machinery with Unrestricted Navigation, the yacht carries EFP (Y), AUT-UMS, and COMF (Y) notations and is fully compliant with LY3.

Design

The exterior bears the signature of Zhivko Stoyanov with the guidance of consultant Carl Esch, while the interior is crafted by Sorin Vega Design, creating a seamless dialogue between sculpted lines and refined, contemporary comfort.

Exterior

Impeccably crafted teak decks in first-class grade, quarter-sawn teak extend from bow to stern, framed by a robust stainless-steel exterior railing that inspires confidence underway. Clear glass windscreens shield the helm and lounging areas, while tinted, double-glazed windows enhance privacy and climate control without compromising panoramic views. The superstructure is completed with a premium Awl-Grip or Alexseal finishing, delivering enduring gloss, superior protection, and a refined yacht-grade sheen.

Deck equipment

The yacht’s deck equipment is thoughtfully appointed, featuring a hydraulic stern boarding passarela and a side boarding ladder for effortless embarkation, vertical anchor winches with warping head for confident anchoring, and stainless-steel capstans and bollards on each side of the main deck. Toy handling is streamlined by a telescopic knuckle-boom crane on the forward bridge deck for launching the PWCs and an overhead crane on the forward main deck dedicated to the tender. The top deck is partially shaded by a hard top and arranged with seats, a bar, a Jacuzzi, and sunbeds, while the main deck aft showcases a pool complete with a dedicated pool tank. A transformer-type section at the bathing platform enhances access to the water, and a retractable sun canopy on the aft main deck provides adjustable shelter.

Clear heights from finished ceiling to finished floor

Generous headroom is thoughtfully maintained across all levels, with the main deck offering 2.2 m of clear height, the bridge deck and lower deck each providing 2.10 m, and the sun deck mirroring the main deck at 2.2 m from finished ceiling to finished floor.

Interior accommodation

Luxurious staircases serve all decks, connecting a centrally positioned galley on the main deck that offers direct routing to the main saloon, lobby, side deck, and crew area. The bridge deck features the owner’s suite with dressing room and bathroom, opening onto an aft terrace, while a large wheelhouse on this level is complemented by a captain’s cabin. On the main deck, a large saloon with dedicated dining is joined by a private office and a forward VIP cabin. The lower deck hosts four luxurious guest cabins together with the crew and service areas.

Lighting

A customized luxury LED lighting scheme, meticulously tailored to the yacht’s interior and exterior design, bathes every space in a refined glow, while underwater lights extend the ambiance beneath the waterline to create a dramatic, cinematic presence both at anchor and underway.

Propulsion

The main propulsion plant features two MTU diesel engines—or Caterpillar equivalents—each coupled to a fixed-pitch propeller (FPP), delivering a maximum speed of 17 knots. Alternative propulsion systems are available upon request.

Bow thruster

A hydraulically driven, tunnel-mounted bow thruster delivers precise lateral control for confident maneuvering while enabling Dynamic Positioning (DPO).

Stabilizers

Advanced stabilizers deliver true underway and zero-speed stabilization, dramatically reducing roll while cruising or at anchor to ensure a serene, comfortable experience for everyone on board.

Tender store

Positioned on the forward main deck, a large, covered tender store is purpose-built to accommodate one 6-meter tender, complemented by dedicated storage for two PWCs on the forward bridge deck.

Fuel and water capacity

Purpose-built for extended cruising, the yacht incorporates a fuel tank capacity of 50,000 liters and a water tank capacity of 15,000 liters, delivering impressive autonomy and sustained comfort on voyages of every length.

Fresh water system

The yacht’s fresh water system is engineered for comfort and self-sufficiency, with two hydrophore pumps delivering steady pressure, three hot-water boilers providing ample heated supply, and a hot and cold water circulation system ensuring immediate availability throughout the vessel. Complementing this robust arrangement are two reverse-osmosis water makers with sufficient capacity, supporting extended cruising with reliable onboard production.

Sewage treatment

A vacuum toilet sanitary system pairs with an advanced black-water treatment installation to deliver efficient, hygienic, and environmentally responsible waste management throughout the yacht.

Ventilation & air conditioning

A centralized air conditioning system delivers seamless climate control throughout the interior living areas for the owner, guests, and crew, ensuring a consistently comfortable environment in every private and service space.

Navigation & communication

All navigation and communication systems, together with the IC and AV/IT suite, will be specified in close consultation with the owner to create a seamlessly integrated, tailor-made solution aligned with their preferences and cruising profile.

Electrical installation

The yacht’s electrical backbone features twin generators rated at approximately one hundred kilowatts each, delivering reliable, redundant power for all onboard systems, complemented by a shore power transformer that ensures smooth, safe conversion and seamless connectivity when alongside.

Fire-fighting

An integrated fire extinguishing system protects the accommodation, service, and machinery spaces, ensuring steadfast safety across the vessel.
