Route less traveled

THE WHITE SANDS OF THE SOUTH AND THE BLACK SKY OF THE NORTH ARE JUST FOR YOU. THERE ARE MANY PLACES IN THE WORLD YOU DIDN’T EVEN KNOW ABOUT. MAYBE IT’S TIME TO EXPLORE THEM? YOUR YACHT IS WAITING FOR YOU.

Would you like to visit unknown and wild places without the exhausting troubles of packing and unpacking, checking in hotels, catching trains, or waiting at airports? It’s quite possible with your personalized yacht charter. Step aboard and leave routine behind – now you are free to do whatever you want and go wherever you wish. Modern yachts are able to reach the most remote and inaccessible destinations.

Almost nothing is impossible, just let your broker choose the right yacht. You can motor up and down jungle rivers on a yacht with shallow draft, travel in the cold waters of the Arctic ocean on an ice-class yacht, or visit the farthest places on Earth on a long-range expedition yacht that easily covers long distances.

Even common sailing yachts endure severe weather conditions, giving you comfort and a sense of security. Nothing will impede your journey. Some risky yacht owners are discovering new routes and sending their yachts to sail the seas and oceans in search of unexplored itineraries. Since the owners do not have the opportunity to be on board each yacht, they offer adventurous charterers to take part in these expeditions. Open your mind and “step aside” from the most popular and overcrowded routes. This experience will turn into wonderful and unforgettable memories.

Let’s see what destinations, not noted on most charter lists, are worth visiting:

New Caledonia.

Since it was discovered by Captain Cook in the 16th century, its habitat and wildlife has changed very little. Its 74 islands, untouched by civilization, are calling you. Many of them are deserted, so you can appreciate their marvelous isolated landscapes. It’s a great place for diving, snorkeling, swimming, and watching the undersea life with its fantastic creatures and plant life.

The Solomon Islands.

The South Pacific has always attracted tourists and it still remains as one of the most inviting and tempting areas. If you are fond of diving, you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to visit this paradise with its sunken graveyards of ships and about 1000 atolls, reefs, and islands, 52 of which are inhabited. It’s impossible to see all of them during a charter, but perhaps you will return some day to continue exploring this world of solitude, peace, and quiet.

Vanuatu.

These 82 islands located in Oceania are famous for their active volcanoes. Have you ever seen an eruption so close that you feel your heart jump out of your chest with admiration? Can you imagine the diverse sea life that lives here?

Desolation Sound in Canada’s British Columbia.

A splendid vacation doesn’t have to be spent in the tropics. The majestic beauty of the Northern Region’s landscape is nothing less than breathtaking, with mountains covered by thick forests and deep fjords that look quite savage. What about having grilled salmon for dinner? You can catch it yourself in the Powell River and ask your personal chef to cook it.

Fernando de Noronha, Brazil.

Explore the wonderful undersea world and watch its habitants’ life while you swim and dive in warm turquoise water and then rest undisturbed on a desolate island. 24 islands make up this small archipelago 200 miles off the Brazilian coast. Its remoteness and solitude will make you feel like a real “Robinson Crusoe”, but without the need to survive in the wild and all the conveniences on your yacht. Turtles and dolphins merrily playing in the warm clear water will be the only creatures to keep you company. It’s one of the most environmentally friendly places on Earth.

Svalbard (Spitsbergen).

Icy and snowy landscapes have their own unusual charm which is appreciated by people with a taste for the exquisite. Visit Magdalena Fjord, see reindeer and polar bears, breath fresh cool air – this experience will always be with you.

South Island and North Island, New Zealand.

This destination has unique wildlife and landscapes where penguins and dolphins coexist and fjords look like those you can find in Scandinavia. The North Island is smaller and more populated, so if you’re looking for a quieter place, move to the South Island.

The Northwest Passage.

Would you like to be one of the first explorers of a new route? The Northwest Passage connects the North Pacific and North Atlantic, so you can visit Canada’s Arctic Islands on your yacht if the weather allows.

Being a trade route, the Northwest Passage offers you an unforgettable and adventurous journey. For many years it was unavailable, but now you have a great chance to see all the beauty of the North. Travelling to places few people have visited before is sure to make your charter vacation extra special.

Be open-minded and look through the charter list attentively in order not to miss something new. Your broker will help you make the right choice. Go as far as you wish – from the equatorial jungle to the Arctic Circle.
