Sanlorenzo Yachts - the Italian dream

Sanlorenzo Yacht Company is a famous Italian superyacht manufacturer. Founded in 1958 by Giovanni Jannetti, in 30 years the company has become one of the leading players in the world yacht manufacturing arena. In 1985, the company built Sanlorenzo SL57, the first yacht made from fiberglass resin. In 1995, Sanlorenzo managed to occupy the superyacht market on a full-time basis with their Sanlorenzo SL 100 model.

In 2011, Sanlorenzo became third among the world yacht manufacturers who made the most number of yachts in “over 24 m” category per year. Also, in 2012, the company was the third in the world in the “most yachts sold” category. Today, Sanlorenzo specializes in manufacturing the planing flybridge yachts and semi-displacement yachts up to 38 meters in length. Its shipyards are located in Amelia, Viareggio and Massa towns along the Ligurian coast of the Mediterranean.
