Italiano Perfecto!
The founder of this shipyard, Geovanni Cranchi, was a real perfectionist. Even though before he could build his yachts he used to sell fishing boats for the anglers at Como lake. His first boats senior Cranchi started to build just before the second World War. After the war was over, it was very hard to start building again. However, the real satisfaction from a well-done quality boat, genially shaped contours, attention to the right material, the scrupulous hull works and meticulous finish brought its results. In the 1960s, Cranchi began mass-producing their wooden yachts known as Taunus, Faster, Sbrazzino along with number of other sail boats.
Today the company’s fleet consists of open top Sport Line series, luxury cruisers, hardtop series, flybridge boats with great cabin interior layout and fishing boats with outboard motors.
Cranchi’s production consists of 4 dry docks and a marine testing center in Lombardi. All Cranchi yachts may be different and serve various purposes, but what makes them similar to each other is the technology and Cranchi’s philosophy of perfection, laid down 150 years ago.
