The Monte Carlo 6 was created for the purpose of expanding the brand. The Groupe Beneteau made an enormous rave with their five amazing vessels which were called the Monte Carlo Yachts (MCYs), the vessels were between 65 and 105 feet and were built in Italy. People looked out to see if they would be able to create smaller vessels which were economical yet luxurious and of good quality like the MCYs.
The company did not disappoint; they not only created a smaller line of vessels, but they were also used as models to show how brand expansion should be.

The word ‘targa’ for those in the know, will swiftly be associated with the Porsche 911s designed in 1966 and launched in the 1970s. A flashback of the open top, fixed back window and brushed-finish metal slanted over the driver’s and passenger’s heads would immediately play in your mind.
