GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Much talked about and admired, TEMPUS FUGIT is the first of the TEMPUS 90 Class built to a high standard of cold moulded construction, she features accommodation for seven guests in 4 guest cabins and 3 crew in two cabins.
Launched in August 2013 by the ARKIN PRUVA shipyard; this Rob Humphreys design has proven to be a superb performance cruiser capable of both race winning performance: having particpated and distinguished herself in the Voile de St Tropez, Loro Piano and NYYC Annual regattas‘ and on her maiden TransAtlantic voyage proving her blue water credentials. TEMPUS FUGITS generous accomodation is finished out in the Herreshoff style with a beautifully crafted raised panel joinery of Teak, select polished marbles, and period stainless fixtures.
Her cold moulded, wooden construction – in Acajou (better known as African mahogony) planking on Akajou frames has 5 layers of veneer laid both diagonally and longitudanally to provide maximum strength and a smooth finish.

BILGE PUMPS Gianneschi pumps
The main bilge system consists of a central bilge manifold with pipes to pickup points with strainers in crew area, guest bathrooms, main accommodation, engine room and lazarette. The forepeak can be drained with a manual bilge pump. The system is served by a 24 V electric bilge pump, located in the engine room.
By switching of valves, the bilge pump can be connected to the the fire fighting system, enabling both pumps to act as backup for each other.
A separate stripping system consists of a 24V submersible pumps in accommodation (2), engine room (1) and lazarette (1). These pumps are activated by float switches, except for the one in the engine room which is activated with a manual switch. Outlets for these pumps are combined with each other and with other through hulls or anchor locker to minimize the number of through hull fittings.
FIRE PUMPS/SAFETY Sea water system using a 220v electrical
fire fighting pump driven by the generator. The pump draws from the main sea chest and supplies sea water to a hydrant with local valve in way of the aft cockpit. All piping to be stainless steel.

In the engine room, an FM 200 fixed system for manual release is fitted. The system can be released from outside the engine room.
