AMELS is the biggest Dutch shipyard that has become a home for the most mega yachts in the Netherlands and has earned fame as one of the best premium class yacht manufacturers in the world.

The brand’s history began in 1991, when a shipbuilding group named Damen Shipyards has branched out and opened an affiliate company that specialized on building auxiliary vessels, capable of reaching speeds of up to 28 knots. Overtime, AMELS has become self-sufficient and has been re-oriented to luxury yachts manufacturing.

AMELS’S team are the real masters of the trade that have fully conceived the notions of comfort and quality. Following the Damen Shipyards’ traditions, the company utilizes reliable and time-proven constructions and technologies, leaving room for creativity in the interior and exterior designs.

It is a remarkable fact that one of the limited series was created with the help of the famous British designer Tim Heywood, whose exterior design work has been noted by all the leading yacht manufacturers.

The mega yacht sizes vary from 55-38 meters. The largest one of them is the AMELS 272 that is still under construction but can already beat all the yacht-building records due to its size.

AMELS produces unique yachts, which by no means can be called affordable, but everyone still dreams to set foot on one of them!
