Overview
Finest Kind is a fully restored Bertram 31 Moppie. It was restored by the legendary Ed Murray of Murray Brothers in the early 90's to create his dream boat ,tough,functional and very fishy ! The boat was gutted ,new engines,transmissions,new enlarged fuel tank 282 gal.(old tank was175 gal ),cabin interior,custom electronics pod,Rybovich style helm with Panish single lever controls,instrumentation,,wiring,custom Pipe-Welders tuna tower, 28 Ft twin spreader Rupp-Riggers,custom Murray Brothers
full size fighting chair and helm seat,Glastech cockpit sole and scupper upgrade,windows were replaced with Plexi-glass and
a full size tuna door was added to boat large fish and provide an easy dive access. This is truly one of the finest examples of a restored 31 Bertram in the US.
