Overview

Canadian Sailcraft (CS Yachts) of Ontario, Canada was a respected builder of quality sailboats for more than 25 years. Although the company went out of business in the early 1990s, the CS 36, produced from 1978 through 1987, remains popular with sailing enthusiasts both north and south of the border.

The 36T was designed by Raymond Wall who had been the chief designer for Camper Nicholson. Camper Nicholson was a very high end European boat builder to the Morris / Hinckley level of quality. The 36T was his second design after joining CS in Canada.
