We are pleased to offer this 76’ Alpha for worldwide sale.  This fast express (38 knot top speed), was built as a factory demo and first put into service by the current owner in September of 2015.  She easily sleeps 6 +crew and a pullout sofa in the salon could be added if desired.  Her garage houses a jet tender from Williams.   NU BLEU is cared for by a FULL TIME captain and maintained with an open check book. 

NU BLEU is named after the fine art by Henri Matisse.  This exciting yacht successfully blends design, art, and performance into an elegant express yacht.  The interior has been finished with leather, veneers, and metal trim to create a high-end custom look.  Her roof retracts as well as the salon aft doors creating an open air salon.

Construction


Cheoy Lee build the Alpha's interior on a floating composite framework, isolated from the hull and support members. This intricate methods of construction greatly reduces the transmission of noise and vibration from the primary hull structure into the yachts interior. The effect is tangible and sets the Alpha apart. Hull rigidity is increased by integrating all tankage into the hull structure. The resulting 'double bottom' offers significant safety benefits in case of grounding or bottom damage. It also increases rigidity, fluid capacities, lowers the center of gravity, and of course, avoids any tank corrosion issues. No wood is used in the structure of an Alpha, only resin infused, foam cored composites. This not only saves weight, but frees the Alpha 76 of any concerns over swelling wood, warping or creaking joints.

The salon is unlike that of any yacht currently built.  The salon boasts large port and starboard windows with a smart glass system that creates privacy when needed.  To open up the salon the overhead roof can be retracted, the glass above the aft bar lowered, and both aft doors opened creating a real connection to the elements.
