Overview
The 196.85ft /60m CRN 60 motor yacht 'LIGHT HOLIC' was built in 2011 by CRN and last refitted in 2014. Previously named Darlings Danama design was a collaboration between CRN and Zuccon International Project featuring a slender and racy bow and wide spaces, outstretching over the sea.
Featuring many innovative elements such as the front deck which was created to be equipped like a real “beach club”, allowing the stern door to transform into a personal beach close to the water, also holds a terrace on the ship owner’s suite side, designed as a platform overlooking the sea, able to fold 90 degrees and act as a balcony overlooking the ocean.
The superyacht is powered by twin Caterpillar 3516B 1573hp Diesel Engines which is able to effortlessly propel her steel hull and aluminium superstructure through the water with minimum vibration or noise. She is also built to exact MCA specifications with an LR class society.
Light Holic is able to comfortably accommodate 12 guests in 5 staterooms and a luxurious and spacious owners suite alongside room for 14 crew aboard the stunning CRN superyacht. She is the seventh CRN 60 delivered since 2005. She naturally shares many features with these earlier yachts (that, of course, is the idea behind using a pre-engineered platform). Like them, she has a supersized teak-laid platform, creating a beach area of nearly 750 square feet. The yacht also features a balcony off the master suite, which is a great addition to the private space the owners enjoy on the forward half of the main deck, and a spacious sun deck with an enclosed air-conditioned lounge in the middle, a huge sunbathing area aft (which also can serve as a helipad) and Jacuzzi forward.
Contemporary design, particularly one that draws on a minimalist palette, is perhaps the hardest to pull off. Light veneers, flush panels, reflective materials and lighting accents are unforgiving to imperfections. Light Holic's interior layout sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 rooms, including a master suite, 5 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. Performance
She is built with Steel hull and Aluminium superstructure. This semi custom CRN 60 displacement yacht also features ‘at anchor stabilisers’ which work at zero speed, increasing onboard comfort at anchor and on rough waters. With a cruising speed of 14 knots, a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a range of 3,000nm from her 117,000litre fuel tanks, she is the perfect combination of performance and luxury.
