Remarks
Expedition Motoryacht "Aventura" is a serious, solid, steel ship intended to go anywhere and to do it for a long, long time. Virtually all key systems have redundant backups, or alternate sources. The more than 5,400 gallons of fuel will take her transatlantic at 10 knots, and easily transpacific at 7-8 knots, all the while in the safety and security of a ship that displaces 115 tons. Built to ABS class, this vessel has had impeccable maintenance by a knowledgeable owner its entire life and is one magnificent ship.
Vessel has just gone through a yard period to include: New Wesmar stabilizer port side and complete overhaul of system. Props and shafts removed balanced and polished. New cutless bearings. New multi-seal dripless seals. Both engines laser re-alignment. Both hydraulic pumps overhauled and tested.
Accommodations
All heads are adorned with beautiful tile and marble.
Throughout the vessel all the interior wood is glorious, old-growth teak and the joinery is spectacular.

Engine Room

Hull
The hull features specially shaped prop keels, with boxed bar skegs protecting the propellers and securing the rudders. The vessel can sit upright on three keels if ocean levels drop that low for some reason.
Hull is constructed of 3/8″ steel plate on the bottom and the keel and stem are 1.5″ by 10″ plate. The house is 1/4″ aluminum plate and the yacht conforms to both ABS and ABYC standards. The hull is finely faired and finished in Awlgrip®.Tenders
