Overview

From the outset the design objective of the Explorer Motor Yachts 50 Sedan was simple; produce a solid and capable sedan style trawler yacht with an exceptionally seaworthy, high volume hull, practical and safe deck layout and with a truly luxurious interior with a "no compromise" approach to quality, finish, and attention to detail. This was achieved by drawing on all of our experience of previously successful models, both larger and smaller, and bringing together the best features of each design into one totally fresh and new concept. The result has produced a solid, superbly constructed and well engineered sedan trawler yacht, equally at home cruising in displacement or semi-displacement modes, fitted out with a beautifully hand crafted interior which fully reflects the capabilities of our established shipyard and design team. 

A testimony to the hard work of the Explorer Motor Yachts team. the overall design was awarded Motorboat and Yachting & Motorboats Monthly "Finalist for Motorboat of the Year Awards 2011; (Trawler Yacht & Aft Cabin Category).
