Overview
"Sand Dollars" is one of
those boats that is difficult to describe without sounding too much like
a Salesman, so I apologize in advance! But when I was asked to come
preview the boat prior to listing her for sale, I was shocked by how
clean, well-maintained, and well-equipped she is! From her custom
canvas package to her spotless interior and engine room, this boat is a
very rare find in today's marketplace that seems to be filled with boats
needing so much attention.
She
is powered by twin Volvo 5.7L V8 375hp fresh water cooled engines with
only about 380 original hours which are coupled to new Volvo Ocean X
dual-prop drives. The drives are protected by Volvo's exclusive
Neutrasalt System, not to mention that the drives themselves are built
to provide the highest corrosion protection level over any other
available outdrive system due to the titanium-ceramic coating that
greatly slows any corrosion. These drives are fresh-water cooled, and
have 2 different water-intrusion sensors per side. This technology was
not available when the boat was first built, so it is very unlikely that
any of her sisterships will have them.
Additionally,
the boat comes equipped with a 5KW Kohler generator (102 hours), 16,000
BTU Cruisair AC/Reverse-cycle heat, full Raymarine electronics package,
TWO sets of exterior carpeting, full "camper canvas" with additional
sunscreens (see photos), remote spotlight, Maxwell windlass, Jensen
flat-screen TV, and the list goes on...
Late
Spring/Early Summer 2018- Bottom and drives were painted, drives
serviced, props pulled, inspected, and painted with "Prop-Speed", new
shower sump installed, hull washed and waxed, heat exchanger anodes
replaced, as well as the drives and trim tabs. She lacks for nothing
and is ready to finish the season with her new owner.
Easy
to see at Tidewater Yacht Marina in Portsmouth, VA- Call Listing Agent
with any questions or to arrange for a showing. The owner has taken
great care to create a very comprehensive maintenance log which is
available for inspection. I truly look forward to showing this boat!
