Walkthrough

Entering the boat over the covering boards into the large Cockpit one can easily see the boat is rigged for fishing but just as often used for cruising.

The Salon is one step up with an L shaped couch to starboard and a dining settee forward to port opposite the open Galley.  Customized by the current owner, the forward windshield was glassed in and a large number of interior Galley cabinets were added with hidden storage forward.

Steps below lead to a Master to starboard with a private head, upper and lower bunks to port and upper and lower bunks forward with a full head with stall shower between.

Access to the Flybridge is by a ladder with a large helm and plenty of guest seating.

Salon

One step up and slightly to port is hinged Salon entry door.  To port is the yacht’s main electrical panel followed by an occasional chair and a custom flip up desk for an iPod or laptop work station.  To starboard is an L shaped recently recovered settee with custom rod storage in the aft section and additional storage in the outboard section.  The settee terminates into an end table with drawer storage.  A teak hi-lo drop leaf table lies in front of the settee.

A directional light fixture is mounted in the corner.  Both the aft and port and starboard windows have mini blinds for privacy.  The sole is carpeted.

Next forward to port is a booth type dining settee with drawer storage below, upholstered in an Ultra Leather.  A granite tabletop makes a perfect Dining Area adjacent to the open Galley and also open to the Salon.  A custom light fixture is above.

Forward of the dining settee is the yacht’s entertainment center consisting of a LG 32” LCD TV, a Yamaha AM/AM/AV receiver, a Samsung Blue Ray player, a HD Direct TV receiver, additional storage and five Cambridge Soundworks speakers cube speakers with a subwoofer.  Behind the occasional chair in an outboard locker the owner stores the six man Winslow canister life raft out of the sun and heat.

March 2020 Yard Visit

BIG EYES was hauled for a bottom service mid March, 2020 at Merritt’s in Pompano Beach.  Work included sanding the bottom, fresh bottom paint, new zincs and hull sides waxed.  Owner reports (and photos show) “no blisters”.

Remarks

Owned for many years by the current owner BIG EYES has many custom features.  The owner had the forward windshields glassed in and added attractive contrasting wood cabinets.  That greatly increased the storage in the Galley and added room for entertainment electronics.  The sofa is built to hold an arsenal of fishing rods, the electronics all operative as designed and overall the boat represents a sturdy offshore fishing platform with room for a crowd at the price of a newer 29’ center console!

Exclusions

While every effort was made to list all pertinent included equipment aboard BIG EYES, there are some personal belongings aboard.  Prospective purchasers should assume any item not specifically mentioned herein will not convey at closing.
