Overview

INVICTUS is a standard Hatteras 50’ Convertible galley down arrangement with two separate staterooms, each with a head and shower.  The 50 was the first Hatteras convertible with cockpit engine room access, which eliminated the necessity of lifting the salon floor to check the engines.  The yacht also features a large, comfortable flybridge with plenty of seating for cruising as well as an aft helm above the cockpit for good visibility when fishing.  With solid fiberglass construction and a solid fiberglass bottom, it is still a yacht desired by fishermen and cruisers alike.

Walk Through

The INVICTUS may be boarded from either side of the cockpit or through the transom door which opens completely.  From the cockpit, the salon is entered through a door that is up a few steps on the port side. The salon has an electrical panel just inside the door on the port side for easy switching of power from shore to generator.  The panel also features all magnetic breakers and an underwriter’s seal of approval for all wiring.  Hatteras Yachts exclusively uses US Boat Cable copper strand wire, tin coated, with closed ring connectors.

The salon is furnished with two occasional chairs port side, an L-shaped sofa starboard, and a wet bar with ice maker under the aft window.  The galley is forward and down on the port side and provides a full stand-up refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven, stainless steel sink, and a princess range with oven.  There are drawers and cabinets for plenty of storage.

Below, the master stateroom is on the starboard side and has twin berths, reading lamps, a large hanging locker, a night stand, under-berth drawers, and a private head & shower.  The second stateroom has over/under berths, a private head and shower which can be accessed from the hallway for the day head, 2 hanging lockers, and drawers.
