Overview
Designed to be a family’s summer house on the sea, Amore Mio’s interiors by Cristiano Gatto are light-filled, airy and refined. Amore Mio accommodates 10 guests in comfortable cabins, including the full-beam, main deck owner’s suite. Her exterior by Omega Architects is striking with a blunt bow and rakish lines. She doesn’t just look fast – the high-performance sportster delivers with top speeds of 30 knots on a semi-displacement hull form. Likewise, Amore Mio has a noteworthy range of 2,750 nautical miles at more conservative speeds of 12 knots, making her at the same time ideal for long-distance voyages.
Clever and plentiful storage solutions can be found on every deck, rounding out Amore Mio’s long-range credentials. A particularly useful feature when cavorting with the family on board is the bespoke man-overboard system, which senses when a MOB incident has occurred and dispenses a life-saving device to the victim in the water as well as marking the spot via GPS for the captain to easily find them.
This is a yacht that is meant to be enjoyed, as her ample deck spaces suggest, as does a well-stocked garage with every toy imaginable. The semi-displacement sportster has all the comforts of a cruising yacht with the get-up-and-go of a high-performance yacht and sharp style through and through.
