Regarded as one of the best built imports, this Hi-Star features teak and holly sole throughout, exquisite teak joinery in a 2 Stateroom, 2 Head layout. One of the highlights of the Hi-Star yachts is the excellent fiberglass work and this is very evident in the molded non-skid decks, wide side decks with molded steps from the cockpit, transom door thru to large fiberglass swim platform, and a large cockpit well suited for fishing, diving, or just cruising.
There is a molded fiberglass bow pulpit with heavy duty stainless steel rails and heavy duty stainless steel side stanchions.
There are both freshwater and saltwater wash down systems, newly rebuilt Maxwell electric windlass with 100' all chain rode and additional 250' chain and nylon braid anchor rode. Fenders and lines, 6 life jackets with life rings, navigation lights, swim platform, swim ladder. Hull color is off white. Stainless steel bow mounted fender holder, all railings are high grade stainless (316), and new helm cover and seat cover.
The engine room has three separate access points. The engine room is fully sound insulated, features excellent access to the outboard sides of the main engines, aluminum flooring, and full stringer engine saddles and isolation mounts. The well designed engine room on the 48' Hi Star Convertible is very impressive.
Both engines new injectors, valve adjustment, intercoolers removed and cleaned, rebuilt fuel injection pumps. Engines and Generator recently serviced; Heat Exchangers Cleaned, Oil and Oil filters, fuel filters, and new engine start batteries as well as new bow thruster batteries.
