Overview

Gadabout is a two owner vessel that aims to please with economical and very functional layouts. It has been well maintained with a major refit in 2008 including a newly painted hull, and professionally installed all new injectors on the reliable Ford Lehman twin diesels in 2019. Gadabout includes many new systems to enhance its reliability and would be ideal for live aboard, simple crusing, or the Great Loop. Mechanical maintenance is up to date.

There are three comfortable staterooms with two heads that enhance its livability for multiple couples and it has a beautiful wooden interior. A practical and social layout, especially on the flybridge with the helm aft allows the Captain to join in the fun. A great boat to cruise the Bay or take down the ICW for some serious adventure!

From the aftdeck, you can access the flybridge from the starboard stairs, or enter the salon via the companionway. The flybridge and aftdeck are two great spaces for outdoor entertainment. Once inside the salon, you will find the lower helm and side door starboard with a comfortable settee on the port side, lower helm, and the galley aft. The VIP stateroom with v-berth is forward, next to a smaller stateroom with two bunks ; a head is shared.
Aft is the master full beam stateroom with ensuite head. It is very spacious with great headroom at over 6'5", a flatscreen TV, and plenty of storage.

Accomodations

Gadabout offers a full beam master stateroom aft with a queen size berth and ensuite head. A VIP and smaller guest stateroom is forward with another full head with shower.

Salon

The Salon is spacious, airy, and has wonderful natural light. The wood flooring and paneling adds elegance and a true yacht feel. There is simple bench seating along with a cushioned settee with folding table, and storage abounds with cabinetry and clever compartments under the stairs. Easy galley access is available from the open concept. Engines can also be easily accessed from dual hatches.

Galley

The U-shaped galley is aft adjoining the main salon with good counter space and storage. It includes a large refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, and sink.

Master Stateroom

Aft is the full beam master stateroom with ensuite head. It is very spacious with great headroom at over 6'5", a flatscreen TV, and plenty of storage. It has numerous portlights for great lighting and generator volume is minimal. Dual lighting sconces saddle the bed for easy reading, and convenient nightstands to each side of the berth are great for your belongings.

VIP Stateroom

The VIP stateroom is forward with v-berth, ovearhead hatch, portlights, lockers, and additional storage.

Guest Stateroom

The Guest stateroom holds two bunks with portlights and ample storage including a large locker.

Lower Helm

The lower helm, which includes a Garmin unit, is starboard forward and is next to the side access door. A large windshield provides good accessibility.

FLYBRIDGE & UPPER HELM

The flybridge and upper helm might be where you spend the most time on Gadabout. The helm is aft which allows the Captain to face his guests while they are lounging on the L-shaped settee.
