Overview
Gemini Dream is truly a unique boat that offers more living space then most other 42 footers. Her spacious pilothouse is located aft and features a large U-shaped dinette. Her two staterooms each feature double berths with their own heads and the large double sliding door aft in the master leads out to the large cockpit with a one of a kind fold down sea deck. The salon is very comfortable and the breakfast bar overlooks the U-shaped galley. She powered by twin 375 hp Caterpillar diesels and her Westerbeke 8 kw generator provides plenty of power for the boat. She is a Great Loop veteran and ready to cruise immediately.

deck doors. The large foredeck provides plenty of room for line handling, relaxing or entertaining.
Heading aft you will enter the pilothouse where the large U-shaped dinette is along the aft end of the
space. Two large helm chairs provide great visibility for navigation and turn completely around to
provide extra seating for entertaining. Between the two helm chairs is the companionway to the
spacious salon. Once in the salon the galley is forward, down and to port. Adjacent to the galley is the
guest head complete with separate shower stall. All the way forward in the bow is the guest
stateroom with a double berth along the port side. Aft and to port in the salon is the companionway to
master stateroom. The master stateroom features a diagonal queen berth and an ensuite head with
separate tub & shower stall. The large, double sliding door opens out to the cockpit and sea deck
expanding the master stateroom out the stern. The engine room is accessed through the salon floor
hatches.

Krogen 42 Silhouette Pilothouse
comes in particularly helpful when docking and locking. The helm is located to starboard while a large
chart table with ice box and sink underneath is to port. Two helm chairs provide comfortable seating
for both the captain and navigator. The spacious pilothouse can comfortably seat eight people and
provides a large U-shaped dinette for meals or entertaining. The Pilothouse has its own 1.5k BTU
Coleman air conditioner. The deck is fiberglass underneath the full carpet. There is access to the
salon, cockpit and both side decks from the pilothouse.

starboard aft bulkhead. A sofa spans the starboard bulkhead with a Raritan ice maker (rebuilt 2014)
forward. To port aft is the companionway to the master stateroom. Along the port bulkhead is a
lounge chair with foot stool. A new Magic Chef chest freezer (2015) is forward to port under the
breakfast bar with two stools. Forward just off the centerline to starboard is the companionway to the
galley, guest head and stateroom. The sole in the salon is teak parquet flooring, large opening
windows to port and starboard with blinds, two overhead hatches, two stereo speakers and the
companionway aft to the pilothouse.
