Overview

Construction & Design

Hulls and decks are hand laid and then vacuum-bagged to ensure lightweight and complete resin infusion. Hulls are solid fiberglass below the waterline. Closed-cell foam core is used above the waterline to minimize weight and provide extra stiffness. The deck is cored with balsa, and areas, where deck hardware attaches, are reinforced with solid glass. High ratio sail plan and fine hull appendices are incorporated to enhance performance. The raised helm position is a brilliant design feature that solves a multitude of problems and creates an equal number of advantages. It creates a perfect vantage point with 360 degree visibility with all control lines within easy reach.

The saloon on the Lagoon 440 is a superb living space. You will immediately know your aboard a French designed yacht. The large L-shaped galley faces the cockpit and is functional and inclusive. The light oak Alpi woodwork and the laminated floor give a modern and relaxing feel. The spacious aft cockpit is protected by a rigid bimini top.

Designed by world renowned Mark Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot-Prevost, the Lagoon 440 remains one of the most desirable and prestigious catamaran models available.
