LAGOON 620, 4 CABINS 2010. HAREL YACHTS LAGOON DEALER

Ocean Whisper was built in Bordeaux, France by the CNB-Lagoon shipyard which has the utmost reputation for building One Off yachts and since 2008 also builds LAGOON larger units of sizes beyond 50 feet

As Hull # 4, Ocean Whisper was built with the highest care by the CNB-LAGOON in close collaboration with the One Off team to ensure manufacturing quality, rigidity and strength as for the first 10 units, and as this was the biggest unit ever developed and build by CNB and LAGOON.

Hull construction was carefully executed between spring 2009 and winter 2009 in the Bordeaux CNB facilities. The boat was laid on the Garonne river in November 2009.

Ocean Whisper was then sent to for electronics and custom deck work (teak decks on fly deck, hulls, inside bathrooms, outside cockpit) 40 nm from Bordeaux by the carpenters of CORDOUAN NAVAL, a specialized custom outfit in the early spring 2010.

Over the same period, Furuno electronics network was ordered to, designed directly and installed by the head engineer of FURUNO FRANCE technical department, also headquartered in Bordeaux. Installation and calibration of all systems was 8 weeks.

In March 2010, Ocean Whisper sailed to Lorient in Brittany, to undergo its final inside works and maritime preparation with a specialized boat preparation outfit YACHTING CONSEIL and the French and international boat custom work outfit for One Off and large Cruising Yacht GOLFE AGENCEMENT. Additional real mahogany and oak veneering inside salon original gel coat parts was executed, additional oak closets in master cabin and kitchen descent as well as additional cabinetry in Kitchen, and full 100% virgin wool custom fit cabin carpentry were also executed.

At the same time, 2 of the best French sail makers, with a strong track record of manufacturing for racing catamarans, were selected to custom manufacture the Gennaker sail (LE BIHAN) and the Spinnaker sail (TECHNIQUE VOILE)

YACHTING CONSEIL executed all boat security equipment integration with VIKING Professional Marine department.

The boat was then sailed to Lisbon for a first preparation sailing trip conducted by Yachting Conseil. In June 2010

The owner and its crew sailed from Lisbon, Portugal, to Corsica, Italy and Croatia where the boat lied until the summer of 2011.

In 2011, she was taken to Greece and Turkey, where it stayed until the summer of 2013.

In July 2013, the owner and family departed from Izmir to endeavor a 1 year trip from Turkey, to Greece, to Crete, to Sicily, Italy, then the French Riviera, the Baleares, Gibraltar, the Canarias, Cabo Verde, crossing the Atlantic to Fernando do Noronha Island and finally to Brazil.
