The 34' Marine Trader is an industry classic, being one of the best selling small trawler models ever. The flybridge was revised in 1991, and the teak window frames were eliminated in 1992 on all 34' Marine Traders, making it solid built boat.
Tortuga is a well maintained 34 Double Cabin, great for cruising the Keys and the Bahamas. Impressive fuel burn, with a cruise speed of 7 knots burning only 2-3 gallons per hour.

Fwd cabinoffers 6'3" headroom with 6'8" long v-berth. Cushions are white vinyl. Storage is in cabinets and drawers below the berth, and in a hanging locker and cabinet aft to stbd. Screened opening ports to port and stbd and an overhead hatch let in natural light and air. Fwd headis to port, private to the fwd cabin, with a sink andelectric head. Shower head is mounted on the bulkhead, with a sump area below a teak grate. A screened opening port provides ventilation. Main cabinoffers a panoramic view with slider windows creating a terrific cross breeze. Headroom is 6'5". An L-shaped settee is aft to stbd, with a pedestal table that drops to create a 5'9" long double berth. A 4'4" settee across to port makes this a social space.Storage is in cabinets and drawers below the settees. Aft cabinhas private access to the aft cockpit via a companionway. Headroom is 6'4". Single berth to port and double berth to stbd are both 6'9" long. Storage is in drawers below each berth, a cabinet and drawer below a nightstand, and 2 large drawers below the aft companionway. Screened sliding ports to port and stbd provide light and fresh air, with a large fixed port aft of the stbd berth providing a view astern. Aft headis to stbd in the aft cabin. Headroom is 6'6", with a showerhead mounted to the bulkhead and a teak grate below. A long counter runs along the fwd bulkhead, and an electric headis outboard. Storage is in hull side slider cabinets and an additional small cabinet outboard and above the counter. A screened opening port provides ventilation. |
Headroom in the galley is 6'7". Located fwd to port in the main cabin, the galley-up enjoys the same bright views as the salon, with a large screened sliding window above the counter. Storage is in 2 drawers under the sink and in cabinets over the sink, with dishes/cups storage facing aft in the same cabinet.
