Overview

Initially built for the chairman of the board for Nautor, VIRAGO has always enjoyed the very best attention when it comes to maintenance and upgrades. The present captain and mate have been with VIRAGO from the day she was launched. When new, VIRAGO sailed out of the Nautor facility in northern Finland to the Med. That same year she sailed to the Caribbean and spent the next few years sailing in the New England/Canada area in the summer and the Caribbean in the winter. In 2012, after a minor refit, VIRAGO departed for the South Pacific where she spent the next 3 years. Upon her return in 2015 VIRAGO again migrated with the seasons between the US and the Caribbean.

A minor refit occurred at Hinckley in Rhode Island over the 2017/2018 winter. A major refit was then completed at the famed Lyman Morse yard in Maine in 2018/2019. Make no mistake, VIRAGO is in stunning condition and her performance is second to none in this category (she has already won the St Barth's Bucket Regatta overall!). VIRAGO is ready to go, just add your groceries!
