Accommodations

JOANIE R has all of the features one would want in a family cruiser: three staterooms, two full heads, galley up, dinette, l-shaped sofa with storage beneath, classic teak paneling, functional engine room, walk around decks, cockpit, built in swim platform, spacious fly bridge and  aft deck with wet bar and TV.

Beginning forward is the VIP suite with a queen berth forward, private access to the full head, plenty of storage, Next aft and to port is the guest head with a separate stall shower, Corian counter top and built in Corian sink. Both heads were completely rebuilt by the present owner. They both have new Vacuum Flush Toilets replacing originals. Pump out hose replaced (PVC) 2017 holding tank flushed 2017. Also, both heads have new vanity lights and shower controls.

 

Directly to starboard is the second guest stateroom with a single twin berth. Both the VIP (forward) and Master (aft) staterooms have new Samsung flat screen TVs added 2018 also a Satellite Dish added, wired to all four TVs thought. New mattresses in all staterooms 2018.

 

 Further aft and up three steps is the salon with the full galley to port, dinette to starboard, L-shaped sofa to port. The master suite is aft and down three steps and features a walk around queen berth, plenty of drawer and hanging storage, a lighted vanity, private head with separate stall shower. Access to the aft deck is via steps from the aft of the salon.

The décor is teak paneling and cabinetry throughout with beige Burber carpet, protective carpet runners, beige vinyl cushions, Window Tinting and Shades, Drapes all new 2018, Teak Hi/Lo table, barrel chair, beige bunk covers, and.. Large Flat Screen TV added 2018

 

GALLEY

The galley is up, on the same level as the salon is forward with under counter Sub Zero refrigerator and freezer SubZero Refrigerator all new guts 2017, Broan trash compactor, Princess two burner electric stove (recessed under counter top), Exhaust blower, Instant Hot Water unit replaced 2018 with additional water softener /filter . Microwave/ Convection Oven replaced 2018. Wine Cooler built in entertainment center 2018.  Sink fixture replaced 2018, Corian counter tops, 20 gallon electric water heater, 12 volt fresh water system, dockside water inlet, L-shaped dinette, Teak Hi/Lo table, and beveled glass mirror accents.

 

ELECTRONICS

Samsung flat panel TV, Sony DVD player, JVC stereo receiver, Icom ICM 59 VHF (salon), Garmin GPSmap 740S plotter, Robertson AP300X autopilot, SEA156 VHF, Northstar Explorer 550, 4” Danforth compass, SEA Hail loudhailer with remote in salon, AutoHelm Tri-data (speed, depth, sum log), Jensen CD5050 AM/FM/CD player, Furuno FCV 667 color fish finder, and Samsung flat panel TV (aft deck). EPERB added to Salon 2018, renewed 2019

 

DECK EQUIPMENT

Bow pulpitwith rails, Danforth anchor, Lewmar anchor windlass, new windless wiring 2019, four fender racks, bow sun pad, walk around decks, factory hard top over aft deck with hard side enclosures and EZ2CY aft curtains, New canvas and hard windows bridge enclosure  2019. Port and starboard Lexan wing doors on walk-around decks.

Aft deckbar with sink and under counter U-Line refrigerator with ice maker, liquor storage, ladder to cockpit, built in swim platform, transom door, cockpit hot/cold shower, single Pompanette helm seat, Radar arch with hard top attached, four sided EZ2CY bridge enclosure, steps from aft deck to fly bridge, aluminum hand rails, full covers for all exterior cushions and chairs, Rayline remote electric spotlight, New EZ2CY on aft deck 2019.End Table and round (ships wheel) table added aft deck, new carpet 2019, foot stools. Aft deck wet bar - ice maker replaced new 2019. TV Replaced.    Four wicker chairs varnished 2017.

MECHANICAL

The main engines 671 TIB 485HP Detroit Diesel engines were rebuilt (one trip keys winter 2018/19. Hour meter added has aprox 50 hours SMOH, 10 KW Westerbeke generator with 791 hours, Glendenning cable master shore power real, Glendenning automatic engine synchronizer, Oil Exchanger oil change system, Air Sep engine breather system, Twin Disc marine gears, Sentry 12 volt 60 amp battery charger, dripless shaft seals, three Cruisaire reverse cycle air condition units (2-12,000BTU units and 1-7000 BTU unit) with SMX digital controls, Salon A/C 12000 BTU Replaced 2019, all A/C cooling hoses replaced 2018 and additional raw water filter added. Fuel Polisher and transfer fuel pump to all three tanks added 2018. Also last year we sent wheels to west coast to be re-pitched Hynautic engine controls, Hynautic steering system, Diamond plate engine room decking, Detroit Diesel fuel water separators, VDO engine gauges, and engine room automatic Halon fire system.

 

REMARKS

This vessel was a fresh water boat up to 4 years ago, and it shows, Joanie R is in great shape. Her engine room is very clean as is her interior.
