Overview

Oyster Brokerage are delighted to announce the listing of Silver Lining 575/23.  Silver Lining is in fabulous condition having been loved and cruised by the same owners that built her in 2014.  With eight berths in four cabins the 575 offers class-leading accommodation.  The beautiful Maple joinery along with the Seascape vertical windows and opening forward facing windows offers an unbeatable amount of natural light below decks creating a warm, comfortable and functional interior.

Silver Lining has only been privately used and lightly cruised by the owners and their family.  Her specification lends itself to easy short-handed sailing with Hydraulic in-mast furling and Hydraulic genoa and staysail furling all operated from the safety of the cockpit.  With regatta success Silver Lining is a proven cruiser with a healthy turn of speed that lends itself to effortless passage making whilst just as easily being at home cruising your favourite Mediterranean islands.  Lying in Palma for the winter Silver Lining is available for viewing at short notice.

Silver Lining Detailed Specification

HULL NUMBER

Oyster 575/23.

HULL CONSTRUCTION

The hull is moulded using a combination of vinylester and polyester resin with the outer topside finish in a white special NPG gelcoat.

The laminate material comprises a combination of E-Glass, Kevlar and Carbon Fibre specially designed for the yacht.

The topside laminate incorporates a high-tech, balsa-cored, E-Glass/Carbon sandwich above the waterline, for additional strength, stiffness and insulation.

Below the waterline, the hull features a monolithic (single-skin) composite laminate, with an Aramid/Kevlar layer, reinforced with a matrix of stringers and floors. Combined with BS1088 standard marine-ply structural bulkheads, this produces a robust structure with excellent strength to weight qualities and proven longevity.

Additional reinforcements are included in the way of the keel recess, the keel longitudinals, mast bulkhead, P-bracket, forestay and hull stringers.

Limber holes and/or tubes are installed at appropriate points. Stringers, bulkhead-landings and floors are formed over a non-structural, inert, polyurethane foam.
