Remarks

Built by the Perini Navi Group, the 73m was designed by Philippe Briand as part of his Vitruvius motor yacht line. The 73m Picchiotti delivers uncompromising performance by utilizing maximum waterline length, efficient underwater hull shape and purposeful styling to create a complete design platform that is as comfortable crossing oceans as is capable of sitting on a mooring in Monaco or Bora Bora. The design reference for the 73m is a platform that is in harmony with the elements. Guests are exposed to wide open interior spaces with unencumbered panoramic views of the surroundings, and a bright airy interior balanced with natural lighting from large hull ports and unique features like architectural skylights and stairwells with overhead glass panels.

The 73m Picchiotti looks like a thoroughbred and behaves like one too. Performance efficiency is a priority and the 73m Picchiotti was designed from the keel up with this goal. With a range in excess of 7000nm powered by a pair of Caterpillar engines she cruises economically at between 10-15kts with a top displacement speed of 16.5kts.  At 1835 gross tons, the 73m offers 10-20% more interior volume than many other vessels of her same overall length. The extra space is thoughtfully divided up into the grand owner’s suite on the main deck, as well as 6 additional guest cabins (two on main deck and 4 below). Other features include a huge beach club aft with swim platform, side fold down door, central bar with lounge area and a glass bottom pool above, a wellness deck which offers space for multiple spa areas, massage room, beauty parlor, exercise arcade, observatory lounge, as well as a 12 seat theater.

Not forgotten is the need to support the owners and guest by providing crew accommodations for 26 and the toys and tenders that give the owner and guests access to exploring and enjoying being on the water. With a 30’ limousine tender, a 24’ sport tender, a rescue tender, 2 wave runners, two scooters and 4 kayaks there are appropriate water born vehicles for every mission.
