PARAYA is a brand-new Steve Mathews designed Custom Carolina Sportfish built by Ritchie Howell that features three staterooms, two full heads and a custom tackle room. The Caterpillar C18A Acert 1150 HP engines have the new engine 5-year warranty and provide a solid 31 KT cruise burning a reported 85 GPH.

PARAYA is built with the latest design and construction techniques, utilizing both traditional and the latest man-made materials for light weight construction. Her super strong hull is traditional cold molded with furr stringers and triple layer Okoume plywood glass encapsulated using West System. The builder spared no expense in utilizing the latest man-made materials from the cap rail up for weight, strength and durability. The result is a lightweight vessel with a slippery fast bottom for efficiency, speed fishability. This is the building process that put Carolina Custom on the map. PARAYA is hand built by craftsmen and artists of their trades. She is truly a breakthrough in the modern era of Carolina Custom strong builds.
There is nothing left to do with this amazing interior. With an incredible attention to detail, the interior is beautiful to the eyes, yet very functional to ensure a simple, user-friendly design. The spacious three stateroom, two head layout is roomy with storage galore and even offers a tackle locker. The interior is a compliment to the entire build, certainly raising the bar in her size class.
The engine room and mechanicals will bring a smile to the most discriminating captain or owner. Her Caterpillar C-18’s 1150 HP engines provide a 31 KT cruise with a very efficient 85 GPH fuel burn. Twin Caterpillar 20 KW generators in hush boxes are a necessity for remote, long-distance travel. The Gyro creates the magic to tame the sea making day trips or long-distance travel comfortable for everyone onboard.
PARAYA has a well thought out cockpit, designed from years of experience and beautifully built. The comfortable mezzanine features engine room access, refrigeration, ice dump and storage. Nothing is left to the imagination. It’s all there and ready to roll.
