The 44’ Rivarama Super is the 21st century version of the classic Riva Aquarama, built between 1962 and 1996 in Sarnico, Italy, by the famed Carlo Riva, who was inspired by American-built muscle cars and Chris Craft boats. Its sleek lines, fine craftsmanship, and speed attracted the attention of wealthy businessmen, royalty, and Hollywood stars including Brigittte Bardot, Sophia Loren, Sean Connery, and George Clooney, and has become a status symbol of a luxury lifestyle that spans the test of time.
St. Peter is a 2016 44’ Rivarama Super, a mid-sized open cruiser, with twin 800 hp MAN engines allowing for 32 knots cruising speed, perfect for a daytrip with friends, or a romantic getaway with your loved one. She features two large sun pads, perfect for lounging, ample seating, a wet bar including a sink, refrigerator box, icemaker, and even a grill. Unique to this yacht is an upgraded retractable bimini, custom cockpit enclosure, and helm A/C unit, offering the captain a welcome respite from the heat at the helm. There is access to a small captain’s cabin, complete with a head, which would also work perfectly as a kid’s bunk. With one luxurious master cabin below, it is known as a “floating suite”, that offers luxurious amenities, including cozy salon seating, a functional galley with a stovetop and microwave oven, ample storage space, and a stylish and spacious master bathroom.
Some functional upgrades have been made, including sturdier handrails and non-skid on the bow, making this Riva Rivarama Super a perfect choice for a safety conscious yachtsman who still wants the style and performance of a “Ferrari on the Sea”.
True to the Riva luxury experience, some decadent features include a champagne and flute chiller, Bose sound system, silver-plated Riva-branded cutlery, four place settings of Richard Ginori porcelain china, glasses for 12, two sets of monogrammed linens, and a custom embroidered suitcase.
St. Peter has low hours, been professionally maintained, and just completed her 1,000-hour service on both engines, as well as turbo and generator overhaul - a $40,000 service! She is currently located in Beaufort, NC, but has plans to return to Florida in time for the Palm Beach Boat Show. She is turnkey and ready for her next owner now.
