Overview

Popular Tony Dixon designed Fox Terrier 22. Very similar to the Sonata. Ideal little starter boat or club racer.

Broker's Comments

1 of 4 ex. sail training Fox Terrier 22’s. These examples were built by Souters on the IOW.  We believe they’re of a heavier construction than the standard yacht.

NB. These particulars are intended as guide only specifications over 4 x yachts which may vary; purchasers are advised to examine the yachts.

Yachting Monthly's Comments

Launched head to head with the Sonata in the late 1970s, sales of the Tony Dixon designed Terrier suffered as a consequence. With an obtrusive lifting keel box, she lacked the spacious accommodation of her rival and was also not quite as sharp a performer. But for shoal draught, fast cruising, she is worth a second look.
