Overview

The Sparkman & Stephens Tartan 30 continues to be a popular boat.  Over six hundred were built between 1970 and 1978.  WEST WIND is hull #253 and was built in 1973 as a 1974 model.  She is the aft galley version.  She lived on Lake Ontario until 2017, so her engine pumped only fresh water until 2018.

WEST WIND appears to be in good shape and may be easily seen.  Her owner is retiring from boat ownership.  All photos, other than the photo of WEST WIND in the water, were taken on 2/29/2020.
