RECENT HISTORY
Approx. 5 years ago SEA HAMMOCK hit some rocks in a North Carolina channel and the captain (at the time) ran her up on a sand bar. Within 10 hours Sea Tow was able to make a temporary patch, float her and bring her to Moores Marine Yachting Center, where Jim Moores was able to block her on the hard and remove all the “laden” water from her. The water went up as far as the engine room and lower cabin floors. All machinery & electrical needs to be removed and replaced. Moores removed all soft goods and steamed cleaned the entire interior within days. The boat has had humidifiers throughout since and recently shrinked wrapped.
SEA HAMMOCK is a “diamond in the rough” and needs a new owner who is willing to bring her back to her GLORY again. We highly recommend that Moores Marine Yachting Center have an opportunity to bid on this project www.woodenboatrepair.com
