RV Angel Lauren, formerly US Navy PTF-23, is a 1968 US Navy Osprey Class 98 foot Patrol Boat built by Sewart Seacraft in Berwick LA. Osprey was acquired by the Florida Institute of Technology in 1986, at which time the engines where changed to twin 1271 Detroit diesels and outfitted as a research vessel with cranes, trawl, and hydrographic winches.
The vessel was completely refitted in 2002. By TLG of Miami, Florida and was used for Treasure survey?s until 2004.  In 2011, Anchor Research & Salvage acquired the Osprey for use in the Dominican Republic.  The keel has 1/2 inch marine grade.
