Powered by Caterpillar C32A (1825hp) engines with warranties until 2019, her beautiful "Haze Grey" hull sides were painted in 2016. Also new in 2016, teak cockpit and covering boards were replaced adding to the AirTeak toe rail and transom package look, which gives her a customized look and head - turner wherever she goes. "My Michelle" offers the desirable 4 Stateroom 3 head layout, Extra fuel option for a total of 1920 gallons, a refreshed custom satin teak interior, custom stone galley countertops, high gloss horizontal tops and accents.
Other options that make this Viking 60 unique include, a loaded Palm Beach 10' gap tuna tower, Release Marine teak helm chairs, fighting chair and helm pod package, top of the line Furuno and Garmin electronics, Bow-thruster, tournament sportfish options, such as, (4) Miya Epoch teaser reel box, Stingray live well pumps, 3KW flush transducer, 43' Rupp "Bigg Rigg" outriggers and more...
The current Owner purchased this Viking 60 from it's original Owner in 2013, at the time a contracted CAT specialist, Marine Diesel Analysts Inc. conducted the survey @ 3900hrs. The engines were found great with very low fuel consumption at 25,000 gallons per engine and an overall load factor under 20%. These engines are designed to consume 200,000 gls. or approximately 8,500 hrs. before a major overhaul. Scheduling preventive maintenance with the assistance of the fuel consumption is the preferred method over engine hours. As stated by Caterpillar the load factor for pleasure craft engines may be "up to 30%". Expected engine life is predicted by the average power that is demanded the average power that is demanded is based on the fuel consumption over a period of time. Conclusion was that the engines were treated correctly, great shape, with no negative history and could be treated as having half the time. Based on the above average conditions of these engines the current Owner was able to extend the Caterpillar warranties 2500hrs or until 5/2019. In almost 5 years since the purchase only 800+/- hrs. have been added.
