Timoneer (name reserved) is a powerful 44.8-metre (147ft) ketch-rigged yacht designed by Ed Dubois and endowed with many great cruising features. These include an elegant, well protected deck salon offering spectacular 360-degree views with the option to open all the side windows or remain with air conditioned comfort inside.
Timoneer has a classic profile with balanced overhangs, a sweet sheer and a deckhouse that is in proper proportion to the freeboard. A beautifully designed and finished interior by John Munford Design with elegant paneling in hand-polished cherry wood offers a gracious and traditional atmosphere as well as the ideal supportive environment for an owner’s art collection.
Perhaps Timoneer’s greatest feature has been her Ownership. Since new, she has benefitted from one extraordinary Owner and been under the stewardship of an extremely knowledgeable Captain and his crew. The construction process, maintenance program and upgrades have allowed for true world cruising itineraries with regatta victories in-between. There is no doubt that her new owners will benefit from this superbly operated program and an extremely well-conceived Superyacht with a well-known reputation.
