Overview

SWISH was built as a luxury,  performance cruising catamaran.  She has a history of success as a  crewed charter yacht for many years.

She has been professionally maintained throughout her life and her appearance is of a much newer boat.

With four ensuite queen cabins and a separate single crew cabin, the Voyage Mayotte is a perfect platform for private family cruising or crewed charter use.

SWISH was the last Mayotte 47 finished by Scholtz Marine in Cape Town, South Africa prior to selling the molds to Voyage Yachts and were built to the highest International standard with meticulous attention to detail. All Mayotte Cats are CE Certified and widely acknowledged for their quality, performance, ease of handling and low maintenance.

If you are looking for a fast, spacious, and well equipped bluewater catamaran at a very attractive price, then look no further than SWISH.

SWISH suffered zero damage from the storms of 2017 and is ready to go now!

Construction Notes:
The Hull and keel are hand laid CSM & quadraxial roving with vinylester resin cored with Tomanto PVC foam for stiffness, strength and insulation. Her keels are low aspect ratio, fin design for lift and enhanced windward performance. There are full-length skegs with elliptical rudders.

Deck and superstructure is hand laid multi?directional glass roving molded in one piece and cored with end grain balsa. Deck to hull joint is chemically bonded.

Cockpit has U-shaped seating with 2 full width and depth, lazarette locker, 2 shallow lockers, helm station is forward to starboard with swivel helm seat. There is a custom fiberglass dining table,

Remarks:
This is the last Fred Scholtz Marine hull. Scholtz had been recognized as the largest boat builder in South Africa. He then sold the molds to Voyage Yachts who changed the yacht to be a charter boat with many of the customized features eliminated. The outboard cockpit lockers were altered so as not to intrude on the aft berths.

SWISH has the interior space of most 55' cats in a more manageable size. She has sailed over 60,000 ocean miles in her 18 years including 6500 miles from S. Africa to the Caribbean and over 5 round trips to New England. As a luxury crewed charter yacht, any fixture is replaced at the first sign of wear. She was built as a Mayotte 47 but later had a 3’ bowsprit added.
