Aluboot Hindeloopen

Aluboot Hindeloopen is a Dutch shipyard specialized in the motor and sailing yachts with aluminum hull. This is a family business established on August 11, 1975 in Hindeloopen. The shipyard is owned by Bornemann family. The head of the company started to cover the hulls of ships, then gradually moved on to the manufacture of yachts, taking possession of the bankrupt shipyard and starting production in the Hindeloopen port.

Aluminium is a proprietary feature of Aluboot yachts. The shipyard relies on the corrosion resistance and lightness of this material, creating the high-speed, unsinkable ships that are easy to maintain. However, Aluboot Hindeloopen does not only pay attention to the hulls. Like other Dutch yacht builders, the company contributes the time to the technical details and design.

Currently Aluboot is a major supplier of KNRN company, for which there was built more than 20 lifeboats. The production is continuing.

Along with the major customers the shipyard is collaborating with the private clients, having produced the exclusive custom-made motor and sailing boats. Everybody is able to meet with the representative of Bornemann family and discuss specifications and design of the future vessel. They will be engaged in design, construction and full equipment of the yacht, and the buyer has to take it to his port.

The ready-made yachts are also available. Typically, they are sold by the former owners. The options are limited: not all the people are willing to leave such a reliable and high-speed vessel as Aluboot.
