ALUMINUM CRUISERS/MARINETTE

ALUMINUM CRUISER/MARINETTE - lightweight and economic efficiency

ALUMINUM CRUISERS/MARINETTE is a series of motor yachts that were designed and built by ALUMINUM CRUISERS Inc. in Kentucky (Standiford Field). The company was engaged in production for less than 40 years - since 1954 until 1991, and then the yacht production was terminated due to the introduction of a new wealth tax and economic recession in the United States. John Althaus who bought the rights to processing tried to restore the production, but he could not do it. The shipyard only occasionally makes the boats constructed on the basis of custom yachts.

The length of ALUMINUM CRUISERS/MARINETTE boats is from 8 to 13 meters (26-44 feet). The series were presented by the express yachts, sport fishing boats and some other vessels.

The aluminum hull made by welding is not the only distinguishing feature of MARINETTE. They have a flat transom and go into the water not very deep, and they are rather lightweighted.

The MARINETTE boats are used in the freshwater ponds, rivers, coastal areas of the seas. Due to its special shape and material of the hull, these boats have good speed and economic efficiency. They can be used not only for day trips or fishing, but also for river travelling.

Up to the present, ALUMINUM CRUISERS/MARINETTE can be seen in the internal waters and in the coastal areas of the United States. They can be found in Canada, and in Latin America, sometimes they can be found in Europe. These boats are appreciated by highly practical people who dream of traveling, but who are not willing to cross the oceans.
