ASTILLEROS BELLIURE - in tune with the times

ASTILLEROS BELLIURE is a company originally established in Alicante (Spain). The shipyard was founded by Vicente Belliure. For more than twenty years since its opening in 1953 the company built and repaired the wooden fishing boats. Until 1974, the shipyard manufactured 150 vessels with the capacity of 70-350 tons.

In 1974, the company opened a new area of activity and began to produced the pleasure boats. For them, they used the reinforced polyester (GRP) that was a completely new composite material. It was used for the sailboats 30-50 feet in length. In total 170 boats were built.

The pleasure yachts exactly made ASTILLEROS BELLIURE well-known. These vessels combine good speed characteristics, exclusive finishing and traditional exterior.

Few years later the shipyard was modernized, and the specialists begun to use more modern equipment for wood processing and work with the new materials. The company started to use the epoxy and polyester resins, fiberglass, carbon, Kevlar, and composite materials for processing and manufacturing of the hulls. The shipyard began to produce the sailboats up to 86 feet in length. Today, the BELLIURE brand produces the motor and sailing yachts from 40 to 60 feet in length.
