BAYLISS BOATWORKS

BAYLISS BOATWORKS is the shipyard founded by John Bayliss in 2002 in North Carolina. 10-15 years in the yachting business is not a long term, but in the case of BAYLISS the age does not prove anything. The company's founder had a good sailing school and spent most of his life in travels. John Bayliss started to know the shipbuilding world in 1997, being employed by Hatteras Yachts.

His shipyard, BAYLISS BOATWORKS, quickly gained a reputation in the yacht market in the USA. Today this is one of the most successful yacht builders of America in the sector of boats for sport fishing. Today the owner of the company spends a lot of time traveling, participating in the fishing tournaments in the Atlantic and the Pacific oceans.

The first boat of BAYLISS BOATWORKS - Bandit - was launched in April 2002. The 30-foot boat made the consumers happy with its high speed (up to 42 knots) and competitive price. Each year, the company increased the range of vessels. Today, the American shipyards builds the yachts from 30 to 90 feet in length. The last twenty-second model, is just getting ready to be launched. This boat with a center console reaches 64 feet in length and is equipped with two engines MTU.

The shipyard also produces the custom-made yachts. At the site of the company they are able to produce a vessel that is ideal for the future owner.
