BOEING - the luxury yachts from the aircraft manufacturer
BOEING is the undisputed leader in the aviation industry. Its subsidiary, Boeing Canada, that produces the elements of aircrafts is not less known. Its full name is Boeing Aircraft of Canada Limited.
The company was formed in 1929. At the moment, it is one of the largest producers of Canada. It is also somehow related to the yacht building: in 1930 the company built the largest ship in the country at that time - Taconite. This motor yacht with the length of 125 feet was manufactured by order of the founder and owner of the American company BOEING. In the 30s it had no peers, not only in dimensions (among the private yachts), but also in design and technology that were used in the construction. The ship can accommodate up to 10 people. It has five comfortable cabins, spacious lounge and dining area.
Over 47 years the yacht was used in the Boeing family, and in 1987 it was sold to Gordon Levett from Vancouver. Later, the restoration was carried out by Bill Boeing Jr.
No matter what Boeing Canada is doing right now, it said its word in the private yacht building, producing the ship that was unique for its time. Now anyone can become its owner.
