CHANTIER NAVAL DE CAEN is a French shipyard, founded in 2004 in the port of Caen by Jean-Francois Bourden. The company produced the luxury yachts, catamarans and other vessels according to the orders of private customers from different countries. The boats were made of different materials, mostly of aluminum. Even the maxi-catamaran, was produced by the company using the "volatile" metal, unlike many other shipyards that used the composites for such large vessels.

In 2008, during the crisis, the company began to experience financial difficulties. There were rumors about the insolvency of the shipyard. Many clients suffered financial loss and gave up their orders. The shipyard was given 3 months to find a buyer. However, the buyer was not found, and the company ceased to be operated.
