DORADO represents the legendary fishing boats from Florida that gained great success with the fans of sport fishing in the United States and beyond. Everything began in 1985 when the Dorado Boats company was founded.

The company wanted to create innovative boats, the quality of which would be appreciated not only by fishermen. The very first boat - Dorado is 30 - entered the mass production in 1985 and provided the young company with reputation. A few years later they released Dorado 23 that again gained a huge success. It was rightly called the best boat for trips around the bay.

For a long time, Dorado 23 had a leading position in its class. Only in the late 90's the company produced Dorado 40 - the large, cost effective, functional boat.

In 2011, Dorado Boats was bought by Dorado Custom Boats LLC. Currently, they build four models of the fishing boats: Dorado 30, 23, 25 and Skiff 16. These small boats have received the most recognition. However, the fans of more exotic and unusual boats, already withdrew from the production, have the opportunity to get what they want: in the market of used yachts you can find the old models. Designed for Florida, the warm waters near the coast of Miami, the boat made by DORADO are popular all over the world.
