The Fisher Yachts shipyard was founded in 1969, its founder was David Skellon. It is here where the legendary FAIRWAYS MARINE were produced and bought up by hundreds of fishermen. Then the founder of the shipyard entered into a partnership with Neil Fernando, the owner of the Neil Marine shipyard. Together, they started to produce the fishing boats on Sri Lanka, using the ready-made mould of Neil Marine.
