Harbercraft - the best all-welded boats made of aluminum

Harbercraft is a Canadian company specializing in the all-welded aluminum boats. The shipyard owns the Kingfisher brand.

The company was founded by the Harber family in 1959. The first shipyard was built on the banks of the Niagara River, where they produced the aluminum boats with the roofed top. By the 70s the company had grown, and a second plant was opened next to Vernon (British Columbia). Even before the start of the new millennium they actively applied the new technologies. For example, in the mid-80s the welding works were used in the production, and in 1996 the technology of manufacturing of the all-welded aluminum boats occurred.

More than 20 years ago Harbercraft implemented the program production control and Pre-Flex technology. This company discovered a new niche in the market: innovative, modern boats, and it again expanded its production. In 1998 a new factory was built here.

The Harbercraft boats are not only durable and comfortable: they are safe, fast, and easy to navigate. The emphasis on engineering has yielded fruit: the boats have engaged the hearts of millions of consumers. More than 13 victories were achieved by the company during the boat races and sprints.

Today it is the only manufacturer which aluminum boats are certified by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA). Meanwhile, the association standards are much higher than the US Coast Guard standards.
