LEIGHT NOTIKA

LEIGHT NOTIKA - a new generation of Turkish shipyard

LEIGHT NOTIKA is the second name of the NEDSHIPGROUP company. It was founded by Orhan Celikkol in 1985, in Tuzla (Istanbul province, Turkey). Being passionately in love with sailing, the owner of the company focused on the production of sailing boats up to 10 meters in length. Initially, the shipyard made the hulls of composite material. These yachts were the most robust and lightweight, due to what they could develop fast speed.

In 2000 LEIGHT NOTIKA moved to North Turkey, Antalya, having expanded the production facilities. So the small company has become a group - NEDSHIPGROUP. Under one roof they combined the design department, shipyard and other facilities.

During the work time LEIGHT NOTIKA built a lot of yachts for the famous yacht brands. Some of them won national and international awards.

In 2008, the company realized that the era of traditional technologies has passed. The owners took the risk and produced the innovative vessels using the solar energy. The first one was a catamaran of 19 meters in length.

Today, LEIGHT NOTIKA is producing the large super-yachts, electric power catamarans and single-hull speedboats using the solar power, trawlers and expedition ships, commercial boats and much more.
