Allmand was a Florida based power boat builder until the fuel crisis in the 70's. They then diverted their attention to Sailboats and created affordable and very roomy boats for the growing sailboat market.
Te Allmand 31 is perfect for Florida and Bahamas cruising with it's long shallow keel and partial skeg hung rudder. Shallow water exploring at it's best.
It's modest 31 ft length boasts a long 27 ft waterline that helps sailing performance to accommodate the 11 ft beam.
With the over 11 ft beam, the interior is of course, very roomy and comfortable. The forward Vberth is large and the head is to port and a large hanging locker to Starboard.
The main Salon has a U shaped settee to Port and a straight settee to Starboard.
The Galley is to Starboard and to Port is a Quarter Berth, Nav Station and Hanging Locker.
Specs A very roomy boat, perfect for the local Florida or Bahama cruiser with only 4 ft draft. Stable when sailing and easy to single hand. Plenty of room for couples and children or a weekend with friends.
