Living and superb entertaining, in surroundings of old world craftsmanship and golden Burmese teak.
The main salon encompasses a large area including the galley, and the covered aft cockpit, resulting in a large single-level living space. This area is ideal for casual or formal dining. Aft and to port is an L-shaped sofa with a hi/lo teak table. Abundant windows provide for a bright airy salon. Beautiful solid teak double doors open the salon to the cockpit.
The galley is bright with generous counter space. Fully equipped with double stainless steel sink, three burner stove with oven and full size refrigerator.
Access to the pilothouse is from the starboard side of the galley. The large pilothouse is typical of the Alaskan 49's outstanding planning and execution. It's complete with a watch berth, full updated instrumentation, a 30" wheel and functional port and starboard doors to access the protected bridge deck. The comfortable U-shaped settee with great visibility and teak table makes the pilothouse a delightful social area or office.
Leaving the pilothouse forward and down a curved stairway to the staterooms, you enter the master stateroom with oversize double berth, vanity, bureau and a large hanging locker, all in the superb hand finished teak. The private head is enhanced by its marble countertop, and tile tub and shower. A second entrance aft leads to the salon and galley.
Moving forward you enter the guest stateroom fitted with two berths, teak bureau and shelf-top hanging locker, and has its own private head with shower. Both heads feature new TECMA toilets and new plumbing.
